1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrefID, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

PrefID provides an identity and preference management service that allows users to store, manage, and share their preferences across AI applications and services. We act as a neutral intermediary between you and the applications you authorize.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

The PrefID service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by PrefID. Your preference data belongs to you. We claim no ownership over the content you create or store within the service.

6. Third-Party Applications

When you authorize third-party applications to access your PrefID data, you do so at your own risk. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party developers. You can revoke access at any time.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrefID shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
